Fireworks

It was a night of fun fireworks night. But there was once a family that had a son and a daughter. They had never seen fireworks before. So after school they were on they way back home and the mum “said,.”

to them I have a surprise for you two at home. But the daughter and the son were sitting there thinking what could the surprise be.

So it was six o'clock and it was getting dark mum went to her room and got out a big box and gave it to them then they asked what is this. The mum replied it is fireworks for you two for tonight. They jumped with excitement and hugged there mum and “said,” thank you. At seven o clock we will go outside and light them up. The two kids couldn't wait till it got to seven. Once the clock hit six fifty nine they went outside.

The dad got one out light it up and “said,” move back. They watched while the beautiful colours went up in to the sky. Their dad got out and another one light it up and “said,” move back but this one was so loud after that. Their mum got one spinning one out and light it up and “said,” move back the spinning firework went round and round with lots of colours and then after they light all of it then went back inside and made a thank you letter for their mum and dad.      

Maths for this week

This is my maths game that I played. It is kind of challenging but I try my best to get the right answer. When I first started the game is was easy. But when I kept on playing it went harder and harder. It asks you  a question. Then you answer it by clicking on one of the little circle. Then submit to check if it is right. It helps with you shapes and staff.

Certain probability

This games is a fair game to play. Is is likely or not that you are going to pick out a brown marble or not. It is an easy game and it fun to play while you a having maths in class or if you're doing nothing and you have a computer you can go and play this game.  

iTools-Probability

This game is called iTools -Probability. You have to answer the question under the bag. There is unlikely,like,certain,impossible and equally likely. You have to click on the one that you think is correct and then click check. It is good you can learn something from it.

Darren

Darren is a little boy. Whenever he is scared he played his drums. His mum was having a baby. So his cousin shouted at him. He started to play his drums. He calls his pop every night before he go to sleep. He called his pop to remind him to sleep.

Then his aunt came and took him to are room and there were no roof and light is they used a lamp. So the aunt left and then Darren start getting scared. So he played his drums. Then he remembered that he had not called his pop so he slowly got out of bed and went to the phone and called his pop and remind him to go to sleep.

Then he felt happy because that was over.    

Tally chart

In my maths group we had to play this game. It is easy to play because I have to put the bars next to the right number. When you colour the have to press the plus and for the numbers to. This tally chart is not like some tally charts to have the same amount of people that likes the colors.  

Cantik the tiger

Walt:write a report on the Sumatran Tiger

On 28  August 2013 a Sumatran tiger died at the Wellington Zoo. Her name was Cantik. She had 20  cubs and now her cubs are in Australasia. She came from  the Netherlands  to Wellington in 1994.  She  had lived for over 20 years.

When the Sumatran tigers have cubs they live with their mothers and then the father leaves and they never get contact with their father.  She had died  from cancer and arthritis. It is sad because she was only 21 years old.  

Everyone must be sad because how Cantik had passed away. It is sad for the zoo keepers too. They probably miss Cantik a lot and the people that knew Cantik. It is a very sad story.

Indenfying unit fraction

This game is about Identifying unit fractions. It is a game that will help with the fractions. Some fractions come in numbers and some come in diagrams. I find some tricky and some easy, most of these  are simple. It’s fun and great learning too. The number on top is the numerator and the number on the bottom is the denominator. I would like to learn more about this because aspect because it was a bit tricky. It would help if they made the questions more hard. I know that was the answer because there is only one shaded out of two parts.

Understanding fraction

The game I played was how to understand fractions. It is very changing but I try I get some wrong and I get some right. If you want to know how to play this maths game keep on reading. So you count the square and then put down the number on the square on the top then you count the circle and put it down on the bottom square and then the answer will look like this 1/6

Early this morning we had to go to the hall to talk about our skin and the sore throat. We the meet Vodafone warriors. There were lot of doctors who came to talk to us to. We had this special assemble because Crystal king had problems with her heart and It is very sad.   

But there was a man called Awen Guttenbeil  how was telling us how he loved sports but he was sick. Awen told us that one day he fell sick but he wanted to go to school to go and beat his friends at running. But then one day. Awen wake up to go to school. He fill sicker than before. So he went to his mum and dad and told them that he is feeling sick so he went to the doctors and from the doctors to the hospital. He stayed there in  hospital for 2 months. Than they said

that he had a whole in his heart. That is why you have to go and have your  thought checked and tell your mum and dad that you feel sick when you a feeling sick. There was a child who had the same sickness at Awen. she had a sore though But she did not get it checked.

There was a lady called Elizabeth who was bartending to be a the Vodafone warriors teacher and they even had a doctor to come and check there though. One of the vodafone warriors player came because he had a sore though. So then the doctor that went into their checked it for him. But when he went up he was a bit scared and sui to get his though checked. His two other friends had to count down with us to help sione say ahh. 3,2,1 say ahh we all said.     

            

    

Fraction game

This is a fraction game that I have been playing for maths time. It is easy but when you keep on playing it get harder and you got to hurry before your time finishes. I like this game because it help me go faster with the word that has I sometimes have for the teacher and because she gives me time with the writing sometimes.

Moneywise

Walt: write a response to the talk by Evan

When Evan came to our school to talk about how to save money. Evan was the best at telling jokes for money and for lots of other thing to. We enjoyed it because the way he was talking to us about money.  It changed  my thought and the way I am using money. It really helps with the stuff you a straggling with like the builes and  it may help your mum and dad too. Money is what a very help for to everyone. You can save some money too. When you grow up and have you 21st  you have enough money for you big celebration.

Mum stepped

On Saturday morning mum, dad, my brothers and my sister were going to my Aunt's house to see her because she was sick. My little sister liked to took her teddy bear with her and showed off with it. So she came with her teddy bear and then she dropped it.

She thought that her teddy bear was still in her hands. We were almost at my Aunt’s house. That is when she had recognised that her teddy wasn't in her hand. She went to cried and cried. Her crying could not stop.

Then she answered that she doesn't have her teddy bear. We had to look for it in the van. It was not there. So we had to go back home and look for her teddy bear.

When we get home my mum did not see my little sisters teddy bear. She stepped on it. My little sisters teddy bear was muddy. My mum said sorry I stepped on your teddy bear. Then she started to cry.

My mum then gave my little sister $2.00. My sister felt real happy. She asked my mum if she can go to the shop said on way to Aunt's house and my mum okay.

When she went in she came back out and called my mum. My mum went in and there were lots of thing  then my mum went in and she went and got thing that a expensive.

In Ancient Egypt this is what they do to make a mummy. The people take out the brain except the heart. They salt the body. Then put cloth inside the body so the body can stay in shape. After that they use the bandage to wrap around the body. Priest get instruments to touch the mummies with because the Ancient Egyptians believe that the priest would send the spirit to the next world    

This is a photo of the  veggies and fruits that the farmers grow. It was grapes,watermelon, onions and lots of other fruits and veggies. They grow these veggies and fruit in Egypt.

Tut was a king after his father had died. He was a king of Ancient Egypt. Tut had ruled from in 1333BC to 1324BC. Tut was 8 or 9 when we got to be the king. Tut was 18 years old when he  died.

He had died because he had an infected leg. The other theory about the death is he suffered a blow to the back of the head. Tut’s head was cracked. The doctor had found out that he had a fracture. It is believed that he had got murdered and got hit on the head. We do not know exactly how he had died.

Tut’s tomb is in the valley of the King at Luxor. People had found a mask that had belonged to Tut. Tut’s had a slight built but was well nourished.Scientists had found a bag full of gold rings on the floor.

This is to learn our times tables from our one time tables to nine times tables. I have been solving  some multiplication. It good because it can make you faster in your times tables. So when your teacher and you a just like that. Then the teacher will know that the maths games that they  giving you. It is like you a choosing  a fish to be you pet or friend but with answers on your pets tank.

Stunt Wheel

Walt:make a stunt wheel

Our topic  study is  toys. We  created a stunt wheel in  our classroom. When we finished we went to see if it worked. My Stunt wheel did not work because it was bent on the side. I got the idea from a New Zealand School Journal. The wind blew the Stunt Wheel and that is what made some Stunt Wheel move . If the wind was stronger it went  far. I need to work harder and better on the Stunt Wheel next time and  use a cardboard.
